The North Wake Giants run of bad luck and bad breaks continued on Saturday before being interrupted by rain earlier. Trailing 10-6 in the top of the 4th, the skies opened and postponed the game to a still-to-be-determined date.
Giants' pitchers again couldn't find the plate and clutch hits were few and far between. Jack was 0-1, and the possibility that I am a jinx is alive and well. The playoffs are coming, and the once-plentiful breaks are going by the wayside.
So maybe the rain will be a Godsend, at least for this game.
NEWS FLASH: The coach just sent a note that said the entire game needs to be played again, although there is the the chance they will pick it up in the 4th.This will happen tomorrow night.
Tuesday night I will hopefully be back with what the great Ralph Kiner used to say at the end of Mets' games, "the happy recap."
