It has come to my attention that most of the music I discuss tends to be either downbeat in topic or tone.
Depressing. Sad. Lonely.
So, in response to that, I offer the Friday afternoon installment of the Best Song You Have Never Heard Before:
Glorious power pop from one of the greatest comeback albums of all time. A lot of the Searchers stuff from the 60s (“When You Walk in the Room” anyone?) is stellar, but this effort some 15-or-so-years later is a keeper, through and through.
And as sunny, well mostly, as the day is long.
