Here are a couple more from my recent tour through the collected works of one of the most criminally underappreciated (by many) artists in all of contemporary music.
The first is a short detour to the solo land of his ex-wife, Linda. Poignant beyond words and simply heartbreaking in my world.
"Dimming of the Day" also features Linda and is arguably the greatest love song ever written. Like a lot of great art, it works on a variety of levels – it might speak of a love for your significant other, or for God perhaps.
Or to me in particular, for my children.
