When searching for an appropriate song for Ruby’s sixth birthday celebration, I was tempted to go with a Beatles or Springsteen (a couple of her favorites – I wonder who her daddy is?) number, but I thought I would go a bit out-of-the-box.

When I think of showstopper, the performance below comes to mind. Full of joy and passion, Billy Preston brings it, hitting on all cylinders.

Sort of like the sweetest little girl in the world.

And besides, Ruby is nothing less than a showstopper herself.
