If we have time, the kids and I will continue our educational journey this evening with the DVD Time-Life History of Rock and Roll series. Tonight is Soul, and I wonder if Ruby’s patience will allow her to sit through more than 30 minutes of rock and roll that fails to mention The Beatles.

Jack, of course, will eat it up, and that’s great as there is a lot of vital and life-changing (at least for me) footage and music that was a big part of my education as well.

I have not watched these episodes in a while, and as for tonight’s Soul extravaganza, I can’t remember if the song below is part of it.
