I remember back when we started

I used to think I could tell everything I needed to know about a person by looking at their record (or CD) collection. In lieu on looking at said collection, I just needed to know that person's favorite band.

In high school, a girl in my Geography class told me her favorite band was Bread. Another girl I briefly went out with once told that she was excited to hear something new by Barry Manilow.

That information told me all I needed to know.

My favorite band of the moment, The Dahlmanns, are back with this: And it reminds me of why I fell in love with rock and roll in the first place: Tight, Buddy Holly jingle-jangle, GREAT hook, just the right power-pop crunch, and it sticks in your head for hours.

I wonder what my love of the Dahlmanns and this little slice of pop perfection says about me.
